Ralphs and The USO Host "Stuff The Truck"
By NBC Palm Springs
Valley residents came out to local Ralph’s to help the USO for “stuff the truck”. Shoppers and community members donated food and supplies that were stuffed into the USO Kroger mobile unit. The USO is the leading nonprofit organization supporting U.S. Servicemembers and they have teamed up with Kroger to help local members of the military. Jamie Hunt and her family stated, “We saw everything on the table inside of Ralph’s and saw that they were supporting the USO so we thought we would pop in and see what it’s about”.
“We wanted to donate some like, well I picked out all the healthy things because that I want to be big and strong while fighting for our freedom”. Supplies from the “Stuff the truck” event will benefit service members and their families at 29 Palms and Fort Irwin.
